I was cleaning up some plants over the weekend that needed pruning after a long, wet winter. We built a potting bench years ago and I still use it all the time, it’s one of those DIY projects that delivers results year after year. With spring arriving there is a lot of preparation to do and I find a potting bench to come in handy for all your outdoor gardening needs.
Bonus, the potting bench can multitask! Our booths also serve as additional places to place food and drinks when spending time or dining outdoors. They’re not too hard to build once you’ve decided on a design plan. I linked to the plans we used to build our own eleven years ago in this post on building our DIY potting bench.
Here are some DIY potting benches you can recreate:

The nice thing about building your own is that you can control the dimensions and features, but if you’re not into DIY, consider these potting benches you can buy online.
green bench (also of wood)
potting bench with lattice back (also gray and natural)
farmhouse potting bench (also brown)
green bench with shelves (also white)
gardener’s gray potted table
black pot stool
I spent last summer renovating our home in Florida, but I’ll be in California this summer so I’m looking forward to many of the backyard repairs I overlooked last year, and yard changes as well.
